| Youth
Programs:
Defined by Scouts Canada, a youth is between the age of 5 and 26 years
old.
Scouting Provides five programs for youth:
1. Beavers (4-7 years old)
2. Cubs (8-10 years old)
3. Scouts (11-14 years old)
4. Ventures (14-17 years old)
Youth aging 16 years and older are qualified for leadership roles.
Adult Volunteer Programs:
Volunteers may take part in any of the following roles:
1. Leader
2. Local Group Committee Member
3. Short-Term Committee Member
A volunteer in any of the mentioned roles should
1. Accept the mission, principles and practices of Scouts
Canada and Ahlul-Bayt Scouts (Ottawa
151st).
2. Be a team player.
3. Take the appropriate training,
provided by Scouts Canada
and Ahlul-Bayt Group, for his role.
4. Commit to the time schedules
required for his role.
To join any of the volunteer programs:
a) Fill in a Membership Application Form
b) Provide references
c) Get interviewed
d) Complete a 90 days
orientation/probationary period |
